  FOUNDATION TRAINING FOR PUPPIES & DOGS
FUNDAMENTALS FOR THE OWNERS

The Home School Program was created to help puppies, dogs, and dog owners develop a healthy and balanced relationship. Byron comes to the privacy of  your house five days of the week to train the dog and to teach the owner for three consecutive weeks.

This pragmatic program gives all dog owners the opportunity to enhance their skills and relationship with their dog under my guidance through daily effective training. ​

​

How The Program Works

Monday through Thursday Byron works with the dog only. 

Saturdays Byron transfers and downloads the owners with weekly detailed training information with hands-on with the dog and owner.

​

  • Week 1: Creating clear communication one-on-one with your dog.

  • Building trust and developing a common language with my marker training system. ​

  • Week 2: Replacing unwanted habits with new behaviors.

  • Week 3: Proofing, sharpening behaviors and addressing any challenges.
     

The dog owner will be given specific weekly homework to continue with daily training  to ensure that your dog learns to work with you and that you understand the training material being taught.

 

Byron will send you training videos for you to use as a reference guide for your training homework. 

​

If you have a yard, Byron will use it for training purposes with your dog weather permitting. At the end of each training lesson I will be taking your dog out for a potty walk to teach your dog all about walking in a calm mindset in your neighborhood.

 

FIRST TRAINING SESSION APPROX 90-120 MINUTES.

REGULAR TRAINING SESSIONS APPROX 60–90 MINUTES.
